LG G3 Stylus now official, comes with 5.5-inch display, 13 MP camera and a stylus

LG formally launched the G3 Stylus ahead of IFA 2014, the new stylus equipped handset will be showcased in Berlin next week. The LG G3 Stylus comes in the same recent signature design of the company’s flagship device. Despite the name sharing with the flagship handset, the G3 Stylus is a different and unique on its own. As the name extension suggests, the G3 Stylus comes with a proprietary Rubberdium^TM stylus and an accompanying productivity and entertainment apps to fully utilized the included stylus.

As for the specs, the LG chose to include moderate specs for the G3 Stylus in exchange for other features. With that, the G3 Stylus runs Android 4.4.2 (KitKat) layered with LG’s custom User Interface on a 1.3 GHz Quad-core CPU, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of built-in storage. Users need not to worry when it comes to storage space though as LG also support memory expansion via microSD card.

The LG G3 Stylus is equipped with a large 5.5-inch qHD IPS display. It’s not the best of handset displays in the market today but it will surely work great along with the rubber tipped stylus. The main camera in a high quality pixel packed module with 13 Megapixel sensor with LED flash. Selfie loving individuals can also use the front facing camera with 1.3 Megapixel sensor that is also more than enough for video calls.

Measuring at 149.3 x 75.9 x 10.2 mm , the G3 Stylus weighs 163 grams and that already includes the unit’s removable 3,000 mAh battery.

LG is set to roll out the LG G3 Stylus next month starting in Brazil with three color options; Black, White and Gold. Other regions will get the handset soon after the initial roll out.
