If you’re an avid Nokia follower, you might have heard about Nokia’s Penta-Cam device which rumors suggest that it could be that on the Nokia 9 that until now remains to be seen. It’s an overkill if you’d think about it actually given the fact that most devices of today still sits happily with dual camera systems and a few with triple cameras such as Huawei’s P20 Pro and its Porsche Design Mate 10 Pro and the latest Oppo R17 Pro.
But now hopes are high as a leakster from China unveiled of what seems to be a legit Nokia device with five cameras on the back.
The person who shared the image calls it the Nokia 9 but there were also other rumors that it’s the Nokia 10 who’d get the penta-camera module. It’s a little bit confusing at one point thought, added that Nokia of these devices were confirmed in existence. But some details on the back tells that the device is a legitimate Nokia device but we are also hoping that this is just a prototype unit.
So this is how a 5-camera system module could look like:
Around these sensors, there’s the same-sized LED flash next to them and another round sensor presumable its IR focusing hardware. There’s also a Zeiss branding on-board, something that’s to be expected for a Nokia device especially when it’s designed for Photography.
So, what do you think of a penta-camera setup on smartphones would be?
