Infinix GT NX Controller and Station Bring a Console-Grade Gaming Setup to Mobile

Mobile gaming has come a long way, but even the most powerful smartphones still have some limitations when it comes to controls, cooling, and connectivity. Infinix is looking to address those issues with its new GT NX Controller and GT NX Station, two gaming-focused peripherals designed to turn a smartphone into something closer to a portable console.

The new GT NX Series is built around a simple idea: give mobile gamers better physical controls and a more complete gaming setup without having to move their games and progress to another platform. Infinix says the combination is designed to deliver a “native console-grade experience” for mobile gamers.

GT NX Controller: More Than Just a Gamepad

The GT NX Controller is the more interesting part of the pair, especially for players who spend a lot of time with FPS and competitive games. Instead of relying solely on traditional analog controls, the controller features what Infinix calls the world’s first Pixel-Level FPS Precision Touchpad on a mobile gaming controller. The large glass touchpad is designed to replicate the precision of touchscreen aiming while providing mouse-like control for FPS games. It can also support swipe and mouse-mode operation.

For MOBA players, the controller also comes with 4-zone independent mapping, allowing different touchscreen controls to be assigned to the physical controls. This is particularly useful for games that don’t officially support external controllers, as the mapping system can translate physical inputs into touchscreen commands.

Three Chips for Low-Latency Controls

Infinix is also putting considerable attention into responsiveness. The GT NX Controller uses an esports-grade three-chip architecture, with two chips in the left handle and another dedicated chip in the right.

The company says this setup enables Millisecond-Level Direct Connect, keeping inputs responsive and consistent during fast-paced FPS firefights and MOBA battles.

The controller also features FPS Tactical Haptics Sync, with three adjustable haptic intensity levels through Infinix’s XArena platform. In mapping mode, the controller can provide specific feedback for events such as aircraft takeoff, parachuting, and the shrinking of the final circle in battle royale games.

Battery life is rated at more than 22 hours on a single charge, while the laser-textured grips are designed to provide a more secure and comfortable hold during longer gaming sessions.

The controller isn’t limited to one setup either. It can be used with a phone clamp, as a desktop gaming controller, or in a portable single-hand configuration.

GT NX Station: A Gaming Dock With Built-In Cooling

The GT NX Station takes a different approach. Instead of simply being a USB-C hub, Infinix has designed it as a complete docking station for a mobile gaming setup.

Its biggest feature is the built-in TEC active cooling system. TEC, or thermoelectric cooling, is designed to continuously help control the phone’s temperature during demanding gaming sessions and reduce the possibility of performance drops caused by thermal throttling.

The station can also connect a compatible smartphone to an external monitor or TV. It supports both Mirror mode, which displays the phone’s screen on a larger display, and Extend mode, which allows the external screen and smartphone to perform separate tasks.

That means you could potentially have the game running on a larger monitor while using the phone for other tasks, such as checking a guide or responding to messages.

A 9-in-1 Hub for a Desktop Gaming Setup

The GT NX Station also brings a surprisingly comprehensive selection of ports.

The wired Ethernet connection is particularly useful for competitive gaming, where a wired connection can avoid some of the instability associated with congested Wi-Fi networks. USB-C Power Delivery also allows the phone to remain charged during longer gaming sessions.

The station also features Dynamic RGB lighting, giving the setup the gaming aesthetic expected from Infinix’s GT lineup.

What makes the GT NX Series interesting is how the two accessories complement each other. The GT NX Controller focuses on control, precision, and tactile feedback, while the GT NX Station handles cooling, connectivity, charging, and external displays. Put them together with a compatible GT-series smartphone and Infinix is essentially offering a way to build a small mobile gaming station without needing a dedicated handheld console.

Of course, the actual experience will still depend on the smartphone, game, and compatibility of the individual features. External display functionality, for example, requires a compatible device with the necessary display output support.

For mobile gamers who already have their games, accounts, and progress on their phones, however, the GT NX setup offers an interesting alternative to simply buying another gaming device.

Infinix GT NX Controller and Station Philippines Price

For Filipino gamers, the new peripherals are set to arrive September 30, 2026 through Infinix’s official stores on Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.

The GT NX Controller is priced at ₱3,299, while the GT NX Station costs ₱3,499.

With these two accessories, Infinix is expanding its GT ecosystem beyond smartphones and into the peripherals space. Rather than simply making a faster gaming phone, the company is now building an entire setup around mobile gaming, from physical controls and haptics to cooling, wired networking, external displays, and desktop connectivity.
