Huawei is preparing a Sapphire screen equipped Ascend P7 for September release

As famous mobile companies are working their way into including Sapphire screens in their handsets. Other OEM in China are now stepping in to join the crowd. Here comes Huawei joining the hyped that made the unreleased Apple iPhone 6 to grab so much attention. Sapphire screen is not new, in fact a number manufacturers had implemented this screen technology before Apple made them popular.

According to our source, Huawei is preparing a Sapphire screen equipped of Accend P7 which will due next month and will be available in Chinese online store and in limited quantities. We bet that the new Ascend P7 variant will have a hefty price difference from a regular P7. China as Huawei’s hometown will have the first batch of those new devices which is said to shipped by September and another batch by November. If all goes well, the company may consider a worldwide debut of the handset making the company as one of the latest mobile phone manufacturer from China to adopt such screen technology. But if Huawei wants to get in first, it must act quickly as rivals Xiaomi and Vivo has also express their interest with the technology.
