With Huawei’s flagship device the P40 series out, the company now turns to the mid and mass market segment where users are abundant and is where the cash cow is.

Huawei already had an initial start for the Nova 7 series early this year with the Nova 7i but the real stars of the series has just arrived with three new devices that includes: the Nova 7 Pro, Nova 7 and the affordable Nova 7 SE. All three variants are heading the market with 5G, a main 64 Megapixel camera and a 4000mAh battery with 40W SuperCharge.
Nova 7 Pro

the top of the line in the series, the Nova 7 Pro comes with a 6.57-inch OLED display with full-HD+ resolution with a dual-punch hole. The display features a 19.5:9 Aspect ratio and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
The dual punch hole on the front houses a 32 Megapixel primary camera with Autofocus (AF) and a secondary 8 Megapixel camera with a Ultra Wide Angle lens and is supported by AI.

On the back, we have a quad-camera module with a primary 64 Megapixel sensor, 8 Megapixel Ultra Wide and a 8 Megapixel sensor with Periscope lens with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and features a 5X optical zoom and up to 50X hybrid zoom. Last but not the least is a 2 Megapixel camera with macro lens at the bottom.
The Huawei Kirin 985 powers the new Nova 7 Pro and is coupled to an 8GB of RAM and with either 128GB or the beefy 256GB of storage. It runs EMUI 10.1 that is based on the latest Android 10 OS.

The handset runs on 4,000 mAh embedded battery and supports Wired 40W SuperCharge technology that promises up to 75% juice from flat in just 30 minutes.
The new Huawei Nova 7 Pro is available in Silver, Midsummer Purple, Wonderland Forest (Green), Honey Red and Bright Black color options. Pre-order is up in China with sale to start of April 28.
Nova 7 Pro:
- 8GB/128GB = CNY3,700
- 8GB/256GB = CNY4,100
Nova 7 5G

The mid-class Nova 7 variant offers a 6.53-inch OLED display with a full-HD+ resolution. It features a 20:9 Aspect ratio, an in-display fingerprint scanner and a single display punch hole on top that houses the handset’s 32 Megapixel Selfie sensor.
The camera module on the back is supported primarily by its 64 Megapixel sensor, an 8 Megapixel with Ultra Wide lens. The Periscope system from the Nova 7 Pro is replaced with a regular 8 Megapixel camera with a Telephoto lens that is capable of 3X optical zoom and 5X of hybrid zoom. The fourth sensor down at the bottom of the module is a 2 Megapixel camera with a macro lens.

Like its Pro sibling, the regular Nova 7 5G also uses a Kirin 985 chipset with the same 8GB of RAM and a choice between 128GB or 256GB storage. The handset also runs on the latest EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10.
The battery is also a 4000 mAh built-in battery with support for 40W SuperCharge fast charging technology.
The new Huawei Nova 7 5G will also be available in Silver, Midsummer Purple, Wonderland Forest (Green), Honey Red and Bright Black color options.
The new handset will be available in China this coming April 28 with pricing as follows:
Nova 7 5G:
- 8GB/128GB = CNY3,000
- 8GB/256GB = CNY3,400
Nova 7 SE

If you look at it as its other rival, this one is indeed and entry-level variant. In this case forward, the new Nova 7 SE is a toned-down version of the Nova 7 5G dropping the OLED screen and instead uses a 6.5-inch IPS panel. There’s a small punch hole on the display as well that houses a 16 Megapixel camera.

On the back, you’ll have a four camera setup which has a 64 Megapixel camera as its main sensor. This is joined by an 8 Megapixel sensor with an Ultra Wide lens then a 2 Megapixel down below and lastly a 2 Megapixel depth sensor.
Instead of the more powerful chipset from its first 2 siblings, the Nova 7 SE uses a Kirin 820 5G chipset and comes with 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or a 256GB storage. It too runs EMUI 10.1 out of the box that is based on Android 10.

The battery like we said earlier is 4000 mAh across these variants with support for Huawei’s 40W SuperCharge fast charging technology.
Color options for the new Huawei Nova 7 SE are Silver Moon Star, Midsummer Purple, Wonderland Forest (Green), Honey Red and Magic Night Black.
Similar to the first two variants, the Nove 7 SE will also hit the store shelves in China this coming April 28 with pricing as follows:
Nova 7 SE:
- 8GB/128GB = CNY2,400
- 8GB/256GB = CNY2,800
