HMD Global isn’t just bringing classic Nokia devices back to life but also the later generation feature phones like the Nokia 220 which now comes with 4G connectivity.
The new generation Nokia 220 features a 2.4-inch QVGA screen and runs a Feature OS, presumably a Series 30+ variant. It comes with 16 MB of RAM and 24 MB of storage with a microSD card slot for memory expansion.

It includes a single VGA camera on the back with LED flash/flashlight. There’s also a 3.5mm audio jack and comes with a wireless FM radio and a MP3 player on board.
It supports both Single SIM and Dual SIM version depending on region and supports 4G LTE connectivity and GSM. Unfortunately it doesn’t support 3G.

Weighing at just around 86.5 grams, the new Nokia 220 comes with a 1200 mAh removable battery with up to 27 days of standby time and charges through the micro-USB port.
The Nokia 220 retails for CNY299, that’s roughly around $42. Pre-order in China is up through the Nokia Mobile store, Jingdong Mall (JD), and Tmall and should be available in retail store shelves by May 7.
