HMD Global postponed its November launch event

HMD Global was supposed to hold an event this month to launch the upcoming Nokia 7.3 5G and the highly anticipated Nokia 9.3 PureView and a Nokia 6.3. We were excited to see these products finally but was cut short after an insider from the company said the event was postponed and will be introduced by the end of 2020.

The Nokia 7.3 is an update to Nokia’s best lineup and is expected to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 690 SoC with a 48 Megapixel quad sensor at the back. The Nokia 6.3 is said to be the same as the Nokia 7.3 but with limited with an LTE connectivity.

Nokia fans have waited for HMD Global to launch a successor to the Nokia 9 PureView and the Nokia 9.3 PureView is supposed to fill that space with a better Snapdragon 865 chipset, a new Camera system with a 108 Megapixel camera and Zeiss optics. It is also said that the Nokia 9.3 PureView will feature an OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate.

It’s quite disappointing that HMD Global has made multiple push backs on its launch event giving potential customers the opportunity to look elsewhere. Anyhow, we are still hoping that HMD Global would address these shortcomings at the earliest rather than later.
