HMD Global announced the new Nokia 5.4

Before 2021 ends, HMD Global has something more to offer to complete its 2020 device lineup as it unveiled the new Nokia 5.4.

The new Nokia 5.4 is a mid-range device with a 6.39-inch display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chip with either 4GB/64GB or at 6GB/128GB of RAM and storage configurations.

The main highlight of this new device is the quad-camera on the back with Nokia’s signature circular camera module with Zeiss optics that houses a 48 Megapixel main sensor together with a 5 Megapixel Ultra Wide, a 2 Megapixel macro and a 2 Megapixel depth sensor. On the front is a 16 Megapixel shooter for video calling and Selfies.

This smartphone comes with 4000mAh battery and runs on Android 10 under Android One program and soon to be updated to Android 11. It’s got a dedicated Google Assistant button, an FM radio and comes with OZO Audio for better entertainment and recording experience.

While there are a plethora of new devices in the market, the Nokia 5.4 is a product for the mass market where specs isn’t much of a concern but for experience and reliability.

The new Nokia 5.4 price starts at €189 in Europe and comes in Purple and Blue color variants. It will also be available in other markets including India, North and South America, in the Middle East, Africa and in Asia with pricing to be announced as soon as they are launch on these specific markets.
