The new GoPro Hero6 was launched just a few days ago but now, several local retailers are bringing the new action camera in our local shores, even more so, they go it priced for the HERO6 Black.

With more Filipinos, going for the greatest action cams in the market, retailers are going by the best possible price for the new gadget, pinning us at 28,990 Php. When taking currency conversion into consideration, one would notice that it’s a little higher than what GoPro announced just 3 days ago. Mind it though that certain export duties and taxes played a role for setting the official price of this gadget in our local market.

The GoPro HERO6 looks a lot like the HERO5 but the upgrades that one should consider lies on the internals. The HERO6 comes with the company’s first GP1 Imaging Processor which is said to improved the dynamic range and better low-light performance. There’s also a support for RAW forward and with the HERO6, this action camera now support HDR.

With the HERO6, users can happily take 4K resolution videos in 60 frames a second, a 2.7K video in 120fps slow-motion and even more with its 1080p videos at 240fps. It also has one of the most advanced Electronic Image Stabilization available in the market with 6-axis.

The HERO6 doesn’t even need a protective shell to get wet as it can dive up to 10 meters underwater without a hitch. Most of all, you’ll get an All-new touch to Zoom function and is compatible with GoPro App with QuikStories enabled.

Wi-Fi on the HERO6 is made even faster, so users can easily connect to a compatible smartphone and transfer files much faster. Talk to the HERO6 to make actions and take photos and videos using Voice commands.

And lastly, accessories for existing GoPro mounts are compatible with the HERO6 plus support for GoPro Karma drone.
