Google starts rolling out Android 4.4.4 (KitKat). Fixes a serious security bug

Google rolled out Android 4.4.3 just a month ago but it seem that the tech giant is primarily concerned with the safety of its users. Google now rolling out Android 4.4.4 update to Google Nexus devices to address a major security issue.
According to our sources and a changelog posted by Sprint, the update comes with a security fix that according to Android Police, it has taken a major patch to a OpenSSL bug. This bug post a similar mechanism to the Heartbleed bug that was recently be discovered.
OTA update is currently available for Nexus 5 but Google has also posted factory images of the OS for Nexus 4, Nexus 5, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10. So if you haven’t been notified automatically from your own Nexus device, you could either recheck for OTA update with your Nexus 5 or if you have other supported Nexus device for that matter, you can check the Google website.
