Google Nexus 6 may not see the light of day, @evleaks suggest

There has been speculations that Google would soon axe their Nexus line, though there have been rumors and even mock-ups of the alleged Nexus 6 and some discussions suggests that the device would still be coming from LG as they did with both the Nexus 4 and the current Nexus 5. But now the well-known tipster @evleaks just tweeted earlier today what appears to be a significant information surrounding Google’s Nexus line to date.

It reads “There is no Nexus 6. Farewell, Nuxus” and another tweet followed soon after, saying “Don’t worry, there’s a silver lining to this cloud”. If we try to put things together, recalling the news that broke out sometime ago, this would seem to support those reports that Google would finally put an end to the Nexus line as they prepare for Android Silver.

Android Silver is said to be Google’s new approach in disseminating its Android OS to manufacturers while providing the same services and features on the Nexus line, much like the one’s we have in devices with Google Play Edition today but more diverse. Though Google does no confirmed such information, knowing that @evleaks has proved to be providing information with deadly accuracy recently, time is all that we need until Google finally make such information official.
