Gionee’s new P5W is a smartphone for the budget conscious customers

Just popped out today is the new Gionee P5W, a budget friendly device with colorful cases just in time for the holiday season. If you are looking for a Lollipop device with a sturdy build and that’s not going to empty your wallet then Gionee’s budget smartphone should be ready to own.
To start off, the Gionee P5W comes with a 5-inch IPS 720p HD display and inside is a Quad-core MediaTek MT6735 chipset running at 1.3 GHz. It comes with a considerable amount of RAM at 1 GB with an expandable 16 GB memory.
It carries a standard set of imaging equipment with a 5 Megapixel main camera on the back with a single LED flash and upfront is a modest but not that low quality 2 Megapixel camera.
It only supports 3G networks so if you are looking for a basic internet device that’s good for posting your statuses and uploading some photos online then the P5W’s 3G online support should bother you. It also comes with a standard connectivity options including Wi-Fi 802.11 Bluetooth at GPS.
The new Gionee P5W is equipped with a 2000 mAh battery and runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). Depending on what color variant you are getting when you buy the handset, the user interface will also much that color of the handset that you’re getting. The handset will be available in White, Black, Yellow, Blue and Red and is expected to launch pretty soon.
