Gionee is launching the new Elife S5.5 tomorrow with special offers for the first few who’ll be getting the new device during the launch. This event is in collaboration with SM City North Edsa Cyberzone with a chance to meet and greet Ms. Ellen Adarna.

The new Gionee Elife S5.5 is a 5-inch HD device with Octa-core processor and 2 GB of RAM. Gionee also claims the Elife S5.5 as the slimmest Android powered handset with just 5.5 mm in thickness and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 both front and back.

For mobilephone photography enthusiasts, the Elife S5.5 packs a 13 Megapixel primary camera with Autofocus and LED flash. It also captures superb videos at 1080p / Full-HD. It also comes with 5 Megapixel on the front, perfect for selfies and video calls.

Despite the slim profile, Gionee managed to embed a 2,300 mAh battery inside the unit and still weighs a little at 133 gms. The battery is non-removable though, users need to get used to it for the rest of the units life. There are third party powerbanks available in the market anyway so battery life won’t be a big issue in that case.

The Gionee Elife S5.5 will officially go on sale tomorrow July 13, 2014 at SM North Edsa in Manila. This one day special event treats customers with free 1 Terabyte Transcend hard drive and a free leather case when they purchase the new Elife S5.5 on the event day.
