Have your dinner early then prepare the balcony, invite some friends and ready the drinks because this weekend we’ll have a fascinating light show in the sky. The Geminid meteor shower can be best seen over the night sky starting tomorrow December 13 Saturday until Sunday the 14th and may give a better show over the other meteor showers this year, that is unless our skies are clear then we’ll be able to appreciate the spectacle this weekend.

Experts estimated at least 20, 60 or even a hundred meteors can be seen per hour and is best viewed in darker countryside away from the bright city lights, so if your living in the province then you’ll be able to enjoy the show at its best. City settler can still see the meteor shower but only those obvious ones but we can still expect at least one every three minutes or so. Observers suggest to start looking up at around 8 pm and on midnight before the increasing glare from the moon light blocks the views of other smaller meteors.

Add this event to your evening itinerary and have yourself a relaxing moment and be fascinated.
