Gasoline to rollback next week, while diesel could go on a hike

The latest development in the oil market indicates that we could have a rollback on gasoline prices next week. But the sad news is that diesel and kerosene would go up for more than 50 centavos per liter.

Gasoline prices would have between 10 and 30 centavos decreased, while diesel is seen to go from 50 centavos to as high as 75 centavos a liter. Kerosene may also increase at about 50 centavos per liter.

This estimate, according to experts, may be influenced by the tightening supply of diesel and jet fuels in Asia and other factors, which indicates a slight increase in diesel oil demands across the region.

As always, these estimates are not yet final, and oil companies are set to publish their final price adjustments by midday on Monday and will be implemented the day after.
