Just recently, we’ve posted that Nokia will neither include Carl Zeiss lenses nor PureView technology in its future flagship and that’s because of a tweet that put Nokia fans in disappointment. That though holds true for the mean time and it only refers to the current HMD Global offerings with the Nokia 6,Nokia 5 and the Nokia 3 which really doesn’t sport such lenses.
Another tweet straight from Nokia Mobile itself clarified things up to this point:
@baris_gunel Hi, our current range does not have Carl Zeiss, which is what this tweet is referring to. Stay tuned for more announcements
Nokia Mobile (@nokiamobile) March 9, 2017
This suggest that HMD Global might actually offer Zeiss lenses on its future devices but that doesn’t mean that the tweet has the company deny or confirm them. At the end of the post states “Stay Tuned” which by the way opens a lot of possibilities with the upcoming Nokia device which is expected to go livethis June hopefully.
