Fuel Prices Set to Rise Again This Week, Oil Firms Announce
Motorists will need to brace for higher fuel costs once again as oil companies in the Philippines have announced another round of fuel price increases this week. This marks yet another hike in the month-long streak of rising fuel prices that started toward the end of 2025.
Industry experts say the reasons behind the latest adjustments remain largely unchanged. Global supply concerns continue to weigh on the market, driven by ongoing conflicts in Europe and the continued sanctions on Iran, even as it works with the United States to resolve long-standing issues.
Here are the expected fuel price adjustments for this week:
- Diesel: Php 1.00 per liter increase
- Gasoline: Php 0.60 per liter increase
- Kerosene: Php 0.60 per liter increase
Gas stations nationwide are expected to implement the new prices at dawn on Tuesday.
