A new week, a new price hike, that’s what experts are saying after a volatile week of trading in the global market. Motorists are expected to feel the impact of another fuel price increase due to rising demand and the weakening value of the Philippine Peso.
Experts estimate an increase of 0.90 to 1.10 Peso per liter for diesel, while gasoline and kerosene are projected to go up by 0.20 to 0.40 centavos and 0.50 to 0.70 centavos per liter, respectively.
These estimates are still under evaluation as oil companies are expected to announce their final price adjustments on Monday, with implementation set for Tuesday.
