Good news, motorists! After months of steady price increases, fuel prices are expected to go down next week as the oil market begins to ease.
According to experts, diesel prices may decrease by 8 to 9 pesos per liter, while kerosene could see a reduction of around 3 to 5 pesos per liter. These two products were heavily affected by recent increases in the global market, so it’s a welcome development to finally see them being rolled back. Gasoline, on the other hand, may see a 1-peso price cut—or possibly no change at all—but either way, it’s a relief that fuel prices are not rising this time.
These price changes are expected to take effect on Tuesday, with oil companies set to announce their final adjustment figures on Monday.
