Gaming smartphones are not as popular today as they were a couple of years ago, yet game-centric users are still locking their heads on anything gaming. Even the design of their devices is all about gaming, and that is why DOOGEE released their very own smartphone with a gaming aesthetic with the new DOOGEE V40 Pro.

The new device comes with a 6.78-inch 2.4K IPS LCD display with a refresh rate of 120Hz, and that is the main display on the device. On the back, there’s a small second display that measures 1.47 inches and is designed to show notifications, battery level, and also date and time. A handy little feature to keep yourself from looking at the main screen for the said information.
The phone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 processor with an ARM Mali-G615 GPU. It comes with 512GB of storage and a RAM of 16GB of LPDDR5 with up to 20GB on extended RAM. It also supports memory expansion with up to 2 TB of microSD cards.
Keeping you engaged with your favorite games, the DOOGEE V40 Pro comes equipped with a large 8,680mAh battery with support for a 33W wired charging. It also has an IP68/IP69K with MIL-STD0810H for durability.
Though gaming is what this device is intended for, it still has decent camera equipment, with the main cameras having a 200MP primary sensor, an 8MP telephoto lens, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 20MP night vision camera with a bright f/1.8 aperture lens. On the front, it includes a 32MP selfie camera.
The new DOOGEE V40 Pro features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a face recognition feature but keep in mind though that this device only does 4G/LTE connectivity which is a frustrating choice for 2024. Anyway, It runs Android 14 out of the box (that’s a little reassurance for longevity sense) with DOOGEE OS 4.0 on top.
Available in Khaki and Blue color options, the new DOOGEE V40 Pro will be sold for US$599, or roughly just below 35K pesos if ever it reaches the Philippine shores.
