COVID-19 cases in Cebu City leaps forward with 108 new cases on Friday

Cebu City, Philippines – The Department of Health in Region 7 released its COVID-19 case bulletin number 225 on Friday with a total of 238 new cases in the entire region.

Topping the list is Cebu City where 108 of new cases were recorderd and this is follow by the province of Cebu and Negros Oriental with 44 and 43 new cases respectively.

Lapu-Lapu City in Cebu also reported 23 new case and in Mandaue City with 16. Bohol has 4 while the province of Siquijor reported none.

The number of new recoveries reached 106 with most of them coming from the province of Cebu, Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue. Thankfully enough, the region has no reported fatality related to the virus as of today.
