Cherry Mobile Philippines is keeping up with the competition with a new device released every now and then. Cherry Mobile has introduced the new CM: Fusion Aura, the first locally branded tablet that features the latest Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box and will be available starting this weekend for a price of 2,999 Php.
The CM: Fusion Aura rather feature a more modest specs compared to other foreign products but that doesn’t mean that this locally branded slate will settle in the corner. With its 7-inch display, 1.6 GHz dual core processor and 512 MB of RAM, the Fusion Aura can seamlessly handle most apps in the Android ecosystem and with the latest Android 4.4 KitKat, users will surely be able to utilize the device system specs efficiently without much of a lag as the new Android 4.4 OS is designed with low spec’d devices in mind. We bet the 4 GB internal Storage won’t be enough for most users, Cherry Mobile has augmented that limit with its ability to expanded the system’s storage memory of up to 32 GB via a microSD card.
Even at a very affordable price, Cherry Mobile is still humble enough to include a 2 Megapixel camera on the back and a 0.3 Megapixel camera on the front. a feature known as USB OTG support that enable users to use a USB flash drive for more storage options and other peripherals that adds more functionality to the slate/tablet. It also supports Miracast right out of the box which flawlessly integrate the Fusion Aura slate to other Miracast enabled devices.
The CM: Fusion Aura looks simple with a faux stitching on the back in which if we’re not mistaken was inspired from that of a Samsung device. Everything is packaged in a simple and affordable device that really fits the budget of every budget conscious pinoy.
