Together with the new iPhone 6, Apple also unveiled the company’s first smartwatch called the Apple Watch. Referred to as the iWatch from rumors before the official announcement, Apple chose the naming scheme as the “Watch” instead of the conventional “i” prefix from company’s existing devices. It was expected that the company will come out with a game changer wearable device that was believed to be the platform and reference design of future smartwatches, but it turns out to be just another smartwatch device in a rather young market.

Similar to other manufacturers, Apple spilled out some of the beans of its new smartwatch with Apple extensively demoed the Apple Watch during the event giving an early look at what the brilliant minds at Apple come up with their own version of the wearable device.

Apple is yet to disclose other vital information regarding the Apple Watch but during the event, they’ve giving us a bit of information on what the new wearable would feature when it launch early next year.
