There was a special event earlier today for Amazfit in China. The company announced two new wearable devices: the Amazfit Pop Pro and the Amazfit GTS 2 mini. Both of these are delivering amazing smartwatch features at a very reasonable price points.
Amazfit Pop Pro
The newly announced smartwatch isn’t so new at all at this one is basically a re-branded Amazfit Bip U that is available in India, but for other parts of the world especially in China where the Amazfit Pop is widely available. The Pro variant brings significant upgrades that consumers should consider.
The Amazfit Pop Pro comes with a 1.43-inch squarish LCD display and unlike the non-Pro variant, it’s a got a built-in GPS which eliminates the need to bring along your phone whenever you are off running or having you daily walk routine tracking your progress.
For workouts and fitness, the smartwatch comes with 60 sports modes and offers water resistance with 5ATM certification, this means you can take the watch for a swim either on the pool or out in the beach. It has Bluetooth 5 connectivity and 225 mAh battery which promises up to 9 days of battery life from a single charge.
The Amazfit Pop Pro will be available starting December 10 in China with color options available: Black, Green and Pink for CNY 399 (US$60).
Amazfit GTS 2 mini
As the name suggests, this new smartwatch is basically the Amazfit GTS 2 in a smaller profile. With that said, you’ll get a slightly smaller 1.55-inch display and a 220 mAh battery that last up to 7 days under heavy usage, 14 days for regular use and up to 21 days on basic watch mode with all sensors turned off.
The new Amazfit GTS 2 mini is now available for purchase in China for CNY 699 (US$107) in either Black, Green or Pink color variants.
