A leaked image of the alleged fourth generation Sony Xperia Z was distributed online which was sent earlier by Sony Entertainment CEO for the product-placement proposal for the upcoming James Bond movie Spectre. The email is said to refer to “the needed visuals for the Z4 phones”, and indeed the handset (though currently in rendered form) looks more likely the current Xperia Z3 with minor differences here and there.
Other information along with the latest leak point to a possible release dates which stands between May and November 2015 with a likely debut on MWC 2015 happening in Barcelona spain on March next year. Rumored specs for the Sony Xperia Z4 suggests a 5.2-inch QHD display, 64-bit Snapdragon 810 SoC and finally a 4 GB RAM which should give a significant boost over other flagship devices existing today and will also give justice to the 64-bit power of the new SoC. There’s a Cat.6 LTE connectivity and also a 20.7-Megapixel main camera to name a few.
As information about the rumored Xperia Z4 is highly scarce at the moment, expect more leaks ahead as we move along anticipating to see hundreds of devices to be showcased at MWC early next year.
