CES 2020: Alienware demos Concept UFO: Handheld gaming for PC Gamers

Anyone who’s using or have seen the Nintendo Switch could easily identify their similarities or where it was inspired from at least. This is the new Dell-Alienware’s Concept UFO handheld gaming machine.

Besides how it looks, the system on docking and accessory attachments closely resembles the Nintendo Switch but mind you though, this little beast in made entirely for the PC Gamers out there.

Controllers can be detached and the main unit here it a tablet-like form-factor that comes with an 8-inch full-HD display. It can be used as a regular tablet mode or attached the controller for a more gaming centric handheld gaming mode or attached both controllers together and play games like we do on the consoles.

The main unit can be the set up top as a standalone display or attached it to a hub that connects to a larger display for more engaging and immersive gaming experience.

The concept is not for sale as of yet but this somehow demonstrate that Alienware is pretty much capable of turning its chunky gaming hardware to as minute as the Concept UFO. This goes to show that even in today’s smartphone driven mobile gaming era, dedicated hardware are still the best there is for gamers.
