Acer just introduced the new Predator 6 and Predator 8 mobile devices aimed for gamers

 This IFA 2015 in Berlin, Acer introduces an array of devices from the company’s latest Predator series with new gaming monitors, desktops and laptops. These devices are pre-configured to include top of the line specs and it isn’t just about it, the company is also setting its foot on the mobile platform and added both a tablet and a smartphone device in the Predator series which will converge in one design objective and that’s for gamers.

The Predator 8 is an Android powered tablet with an 8-inch display and a resolution of 1920 x 1200. Inside is an Intel Atom X7-Z8700 processor and Intel’s Gen-8 GPU, it comes with 2 GB of system RAM and a choice of either 32 GB or 64 GB of internal storage.

Following the design cues from its full-range PC counterparts, the tablet is meticulously designed with an accent of Black, Red and metal. Unique to its design are the four front-firing speaker which are prominent on the front to further optimized you gaming experience.

Together with a new Tablet, Acer announces a smartphone which isn’t in the list of the usual lineup of mobile devices from the company. The new Predator 6 is the new smartphone with a direct link to the Predator lineup and is also one of the most notable addition in the series. Like the PC’s, the smartphone device is also packed with features with mobile gaming in mind.

Acer showed-off the new handset at the event but didn’t gave us specifics on what’s inside the handset. But the handset would be powered by a deca-core processor which point us to believe that is should be a MediaTek Chipset inside with the latest MediaTek Helio X10 SoC. The 10-core chip is accompanied by a whopping 4 GB of RAM. As the Predator 6 name suggests, the handset comes with a 6-inch display with the signature 4-set of front firing speakers. There’s also a 21 Megapixel on the back and the aggressive styling, but that’s all about it at the moment but we believe as IFA formally opens on the 4th, we’ll get to know more about this beast.
