The Galaxy Note 8 will soon hit the market with its unveiling event fast approaching, it’s hard not to notice the bits of its development as Samsung prepares to launch the highly anticipated handset. The latest at the very least is a variant of the Galaxy Note 8 having its time with benchmarking expert Geekbench.
Under Geekbench’s strides, things about the alleged Galaxy Note 8 handset confirms earlier rumors and more. The Galaxy Note 8 model SM-N950F is a variant of the flagship with a single SIM slot and expected to be available in parts of Europe and other regions.
According to Geekbench, Samsung model SM-N905F or what would be a variant of the Galaxy Note 8 is seen running Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) out of the box and is equipped with 6GB of RAM, something that has been with rumors for a while already and is powered by an 8-core CPU on a Samsung grown Exynos 8895 that were also the heart of Samsung’s Galaxy S8.
As this confirms earlier rumors of what the Galaxy Note 8 would come with, other rumors still are unconfirmed yet, credible sources says that would be the case and that includes a 6.3-inch AMOLED screen with 18.5:9 aspect ratio of Samsung infinity display, a dual camera module on the back with 12 Megapixel sensors, a slightly smaller 3,300 mAh battery that what the Galaxy Note 7 had when it first came into the scene and of course the S Pen which makes that handset a Galaxy Note device.
Samsung will unveil the Galaxy Note 8 on August 23 in New York City.
