“6 days of Earth without a Sun” is a HOAX, No such thing as Days of Darkness.

Last weekend we’ve notice that netizens have been sharing of what seems to be a colossal probability of a strange phenomena is about to occur over the new few months. According to numerous posts and alleged reports that NASA has confirmed that our planet will have 6 days (some 3 days) without a Sun due to a massive solar storm that is going to happen sometime in December. Similar reports had broke out in the past years which now turns out to be an annual spectacle hoax on NASA.  Of course NASA denied such reports and if we try to look for official reports on the agency’s website or other media formats, we won’t find any information of the alleged warning or confirmation.

The hoax has originated from huzlers.com which is a site news site which combined real stories with satire entertainment. According to the website post last week that the Earth will be put into an almost complete darkness  from the 16th to the 22nd of December due space dust and debris as a result of a massive solar storm. It even mentioned the Administrator of NASA Charles Bolden who is said to have made the announcement. Most netizen who came by on the post/s are spreading the hoax like wildfire which have completely envelop the social media for quite a while now without double checking the website huzlers.com which has openly describe its website as satire site on it’s About Us section on the footer of the website.

NASA is indeed observing a number of solar storms with large eruptions happening recently this month but this does not directly affect our planet in any way. Just keep in mind that our own planet has its own magnetic field to protect itself from the harmful cosmic radiation coming from our Sun or even from a distant star.
