The Department of Health in Central Visayas released its case bulletin number 239 on the evening for February 12 which shows a continuing increase of COVID-19 cases in Metro Cebu.
From the data the health agency had collected, the City of Cebu brought in 199 new COVID-19 cases while Lapu-Lapu City had 35 and Mandaue City with 31. The Province of Cebu on the other hand had 73 new cases bringing us to 338 new cases of COVID-19 in the entire Cebu.
Besides Cebu, Negros Oriental also adds 19 new COVID-19 cases today while Bohol and Siquijor reported 9 and 1 new cases respectively.
Overall, the Central Visayas tallied 367 new COVID-19 cases today with a total of 5,090 active cases.
