We are still a week away from Samsung’s Galaxy UNPacked event yet Samsung is already accepting reservations for the upcoming Galaxy S10 series of devices. It’s no secret what the device would look like as it has been a subject of numerous leaks for more than a dozen times and even more so as the launch event nears.
So that’s what is going on right now at least in the US. As the US arm of Samsung to start accepting pre-order of the company’s flagship device from February 21 up until March 7. With that happening, we now assume that Samsung will be releasing their reserved units the next day after the reservation period which should be on March 08, 2019. Besides that, Samsung also has a trade-in option with up to $550 money back if users wants to upgrade their existing phone to the new Samsung flagship.
As for everything else about the Galaxy S10 series. It seems like there’s nothing left to hide about the specs and design of the new trio of Galaxy S10 handsets which includes a regular Galaxy S10, the highly spec’d Galaxy S10 Plus and the budget-friendly Galaxy S10e. Still Samsung reserved the chance of officially announcing the device on February 20.
From what the leaks has so far, the new Galaxy S10 series will sport a noticeable Punch hole camera on the display with either a single or dual lens system for Selfies. Cameras on the back will be a triple lens system reserved for the Galaxy S10 and S10 Plus while the Galaxy S10e will be sporting a dual lens main cameras.
These new devices will either sport an SD855 or an Exynos counterpart depending on the market and RAM starts at 6GB then 8GB for the high-end version. There are event rumors about a 12GB RAM version of the handset which will also include an exclusive 1TB of storage.
Other goodies would be an in-display fingerprint reader which we really hope is does have and it could also do a reverse wireless charging similar to what the Huawei Mate20 Pro offers. Expect these devices to be shipped with 4G LTE capabilities though but there’s also a loaming information that Samsung will let loose its 5G variant soon after it starts selling their 4G variants.
