CMF is known for bringing a bit of personality to everyday tech, and its latest products are no exception. The brand has officially introduced the CMF Speaker S and CMF Speaker M, its first portable Bluetooth speakers, featuring a distinctive design that looks a little like a miniature milk carton.

But these speakers aren’t just about looks. Both models come with modern connectivity features, customizable sound settings, and IP68-rated dust and water protection, making them interesting options for music lovers who want something a little different from the usual portable speaker.

CMF Speaker S: Small, portable, and ready to go

The CMF Speaker S is the smaller option in the lineup, designed for people who want to take their music just about anywhere. It measures 130.5 × 85 × 44mm and weighs 334 grams, making it easy to carry in a bag or place on a desk.

Inside, the Speaker S packs a 45mm full-range driver with 10W RMS output, supported by two passive radiators that help improve low-frequency response. It also features sound adjustments such as Ultra Bass, Wide Soundstage, Night Mode, and customizable equalizer settings through the Nothing X app.

CMF says the Speaker S can deliver up to 18 hours of playback. It also supports Bluetooth 6.0, NFC pairing, USB-C audio, and Auracast Party Mode for connecting multiple compatible speakers. For anyone looking for a compact speaker for a bedroom, desk, or weekend trip, the Speaker S looks like a practical starting point.

CMF Speaker M: More power for bigger listening sessions

If you want more volume and a more substantial audio setup, the CMF Speaker M is the more powerful option. It features a dedicated 70mm woofer rated at 25W and a 16mm tweeter rated at 10W, delivering a combined 35W RMS output. Compared with the Speaker S, its two-driver configuration is designed to deliver deeper bass, clearer vocals, and better separation between different parts of the music.

The Speaker M is also larger, measuring 220 × 85 × 54mm and weighing 602 grams. Despite its bigger build, it retains the same distinctive design and customizable exterior as its smaller sibling. Like the Speaker S, the Speaker M supports Bluetooth 6.0, NFC pairing, USB-C audio, stereo pairing, and Auracast Party Mode. It also promises up to 18 hours of playback on a single charge under CMF’s stated test conditions.

For users who regularly listen to music in larger rooms or host small gatherings, the Speaker M’s higher output makes it the more appealing option on paper. Actual sound quality and loudness will still need to be judged through hands-on testing.

Customizable design and useful everyday features

One of the more interesting things about the new speakers is their design. Both models feature removable front panels and multifunction control knobs, allowing owners to personalize their appearance. CMF has also made 3D-printable design files available for people who want to create their own panels and controls.

The speakers come in four colors: White, Dark Grey, Orange, and Turquoise. Their physical controls make it easy to manage playback and volume, while the Nothing X app provides additional ways to adjust the sound.

Both models also carry an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. This offers extra peace of mind when using them outdoors, although users should still follow the manufacturer’s guidance for water exposure and charging.

CMF Speaker S and Speaker M price and availability

The CMF Speaker S is priced at US$59, while the more powerful CMF Speaker M costs US$109. Both models are available through Nothing’s online store and select retail partners in supported markets.

In the Philippines, both speakers have appeared on the official Nothing Philippines website. However, as of October 13, 2026, local pricing and the official Philippine availability date have yet to be announced.
