ZTE brings Dual camera, 4GB of RAM and Hi-Fi audio with the upcoming Axon handset
ZTE is about to unveil their first handset with dual camera setup on the back, dubbed the ZTE Axon. While the specs of the handset isn’t much known until now, ZTE has launched a contest which allows the participants to list their desired features of the handset with the winners to receive either a $10,000 cash price or the new ZTE Axon.
Topping its specs is the dual camera on the back which is able to create a blurred background effect similarly produced by DSLR cameras as well as to manually refocus the image after it has been shot.
Though we still have no information regarding its processor, one thing we know is that it will be equipped with 4 GB of RAM which gave us a little idea that it would be coming with those more recent 64-bit chips perhaps from MediaTek or better yet a Qualcomm mid-ranger. Most notably enough is the familiar handset design which resembles HTC’s Butterfly handset with dual firing speakers on the front that will include a Hi-Fi Audio chip, a feature that would benefit music-centric users.
Driving the new ZTE Axon would be a customized version of Android Lollipop and is said to feature a user interface which looks more like a cross between iOS and Windows Phone OS environments.
When launch, the ZTE Axon will be coming in a number of colors to choose from including phthalo blue, ion gold and chromium silver.
