Year-End Fuel Update: Diesel, Kerosene Prices Expected to Go Up

As we are about to leave 2025, motorists are already being greeted by a new oil price hike that will affect both diesel and kerosene products. After the last five days of the week’s trading, experts are seeing a slight increase in diesel prices, estimated at around 40 to 60 centavos per liter. Kerosene is also expected to move in the same direction, with an estimated increase of about 30 to 50 centavos per liter.

Gasoline prices, on the other hand, are expectyrsed to remain pegged at current levels. If motorists get lucky, oil companies may implement a slight rollback of up to 20 centavos per liter.

One of the major reasons behind the latest price movements is the ongoing geopolitical tensions between Russia and Ukraine, as well as between Venezuela and the United States.
