The Redmi Note 9 Pro has been in the market already but its little sibling is not out of the bag yet. Xiaomi confirmed that they will be holding an online event to officially launched the new Redmi Note 9 by April 30.

The Redmi Note 9 is a toned-down version of the popular Redmi Note 9 Pro with the same design and aesthetics, the difference is that the former opted for a rear fingerprint scanner below the camera while the Pro variant had it on the side.
According to TENAA, the Redmi Note 9 will have a 6.53-inch display with a 48 Megapixel primary camera on the back and a 16 Megapixel shooter on the front.
It is also said that the upcoming handset is to be powered by a MediaTek Helio G8 chipset and will probably have a 5000 mAh battery. More about it as when Xiaomi officially announce the new Redmi Note 9 later this week.
