A few months after the first Redmi Note, Xiaomi formally introduced yet another device with LTE capabilities as the Redmi Note 4G LTE. The LTE variant of one of the company’s flagship device not only packs a high speed LTE radio but also a faster Qualcomm Quad-core processor together with Android 4.4 (KitKat).
After the news broke out that Xiaomi has surpassed Samsung in terms of sales in China, it looks like China’s homegrown device manufacturer is on for another round of bombardment as the have updated their own line of Phablet. And unlike other OEM’s, Xiaomi was kind enough to upgrade the specs not just the ones they have advertised with but under the hood is a new power house that’s taking things going. One important component in a smartphone device is its processor, Xiaomi coming from the first Redmi Note with 1.3GHz Quad-core MediaTek processor has upgraded its LTE variant into a more powerful 1.6GHz Quad-core Snapdragon 400 MSM8928 CPU.
The new Redmi Note will start retailing next month in China. Since the device supports LTE band at 2300 MHz fequency which is currently only available in China and India, unless the device supports LTE penta band or the company releases a variant that supports international LTE bands then we might have variant in store for us in the Philippines as Xiaomi has already extended its business in the country.
