The Xiaomi Mi Mix might just be the hottest smartphone to date with its unique and revolutionary design that just might also be the future of mobile devices, in fact, its a concept device that went into actual production where customers can actually own one. But when it was announced a few weeks back, feedback suggests that there were smartphone users that wished it was smaller than what it was today. The Mi Mix has a 6.4-inch display housed on a typical 5.5-inch handset, that was true to the fact that the Mi Mix is virtually bezel less from all three sides of the handset.
Now, users are spreading rumors of a smaller Mi Mix variant purportedly the “Mi Mix Nano”. It was said to include a smaller display an probably around 5.5-inch where people can easily grab their hands on it and work with it. It was also rumored that the supposedly smaller Mi Mix will announced as early as December this year and that made the people very excited.
However, Xiaomi’s marketing director, Zang Zhiyuan said on its Weibo account that “there’s no such product as Xiaomi Mi Mix Nano”. This announcement seems to have collapse the hopes for those users wishing for a smaller similar device. With that statement, We believe that a similar Mi Mix handset should be coming in the future, but about when it would come out, we honestly don’t know and it’s more likely that it won’t be called a Mi Mix Nano as rumors have suggested.
Like rumors in the real world, Rumors that brings good things are often wished to come true, but with regards to the Mi Mix Nano, we’re not putting our high hopes that high though we desperately want one as it will likely to stay as rumors as of this time until someone from Xiaomi says otherwise.
