Just checking for system updates, Microsoft just rolled out Build 10586.107 in the Fast Ring and it contains minor updates including system improvements and bug fixes. One of the issues that this update fixes deals with Tiles that seem to disappear on the Start screen as soon as you pull the device out of the box. In addition to that, the new build also improves the user experience on Device reset when Bitlocker or device encryption has been enabled by enterprise policy or by the user.
Along with the release of the new build, Microsoft is also opening a new ring for Insiders called the Windows Release Preview Ring. The new ring is designed for users you wants to stay with the current major build but still wants to get early new updates, apps and settings.
While the new update is seeded to the Fast Ring, Slow Ring Insiders will have to wait for a little longer and will get the benefit of having a more stable variant of the build one’s it gets into their hands. Fast Ring insiders will always stays more updated with new releases but that will also mean the first to encounter bugs with builds that rolls out from its door. For many insiders, the Fast ring is almost the first line of users to report any obstacle that each build is having.
