We now have a total of 33,069 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country
The Department of Health (DOH) released COVID-19 Daily Bulletin No. 103 for June 25, 2020 at 4:00 PM. This bulletin reports a total of 778 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 for the day with details down below:
Fresh Cases: 415 (NCR: 250 / Region 7: 72 / Others: 93)
Late Cases: 363 (NCR: 202 / Region 7: 34 / Others: 127)
With these numbers together with yesterday’s figure, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country is now at 33,069 with a Death toll of 1,212 as 8 new reported deaths were added.
This bulletin also reports 255 new recoveries, which puts our total number of recoveries to 8,910.

The World Health Organization (WHO) declared COVID-19 as a Pandemic on March 03, 2020 which started in Wuhan, China. The disease is caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome – coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV2) with a Flu like symptoms such as Fever, Cough, Colds and in more severe cases Difficulty in Breathing.

As the world awaits for a vaccine for COVID-19, the only way to protect ourselves from getting infected is to practise proper and frequent handwashing, avoid touching our face, mouth, nose and eyes. Our health experts as well as the government urged everyone to wear a suitable and effective face mask as often as possible and when outside of our homes.
