Vivo officially unveiled the new X60 series with Zeiss optics in China

We’ve had a handful of leaks for Vivo’s X60 series and they finally go official in China with the base variant Vivo X60 and the Vivo X60 Pro.

These new devices is built around a large 6.56-inch E3 AMOLED display in Full-HD+ resolutions at 2,376x1080p pixels. The display comes with a 120Hz refresh rate which is becoming a standard for new devices and supports HDR10+, in-display fingerprint sensor and a punch hole for the front-facing camera.

With Vivo and Zeiss joining forces, these new devices are all having the Zeiss optics which will provide better lenses for these devices that also results to better looking photos and videos.

They run on the new OriginOS 1.0, a proprietary UI from Vivo based on the latest Android 11 Operating System. Both devices are powered by the Samsung Exynos 1080 chipset based on 5nm process and comes with RAM and storage configurations distinct for each model which we are going to detail down below.

Vivo X60

The base variant of the two and comes with either 8GB/128GB or a 8GB/256GB of RAM and storage combo and includes a 4,300mAh embedded battery.

For imaging, the Vivo X60 is powered by a 48 Megapixel primary sensor at the back along with a 13 Megapixel Telephoto camera that provides up to 2x optical zoom and a 13 Megapixel camera with an Ultra Wide lens.

Vivo X60 Pro

The Pro version comes with a quad-imaging sensor at the back with a 48 Megapixel Sony IMX598 imaging sensor as its main camera. This is backed by a 13 Megapixel Telephoto lens with up to 2x optical zoom, a 13 Megapixel sensor with a 120° Ultra Wide lens that also doubles as a macro camera and a 8 Megapixel sensor equipped with a periscope lens providing up to 5x optical zoom.

The X60 Pro comes with a single RAM and Storage configuration at 12GB/256GB and includes a 4,200mAh embedded battery with support for a 33W fast charging.

Both of these devices are already available for pre-order in China and is expected to ship to customers on January 8 with prices listed down:
