Virtu unveils its new Signature Touch Luxury device with top of the line specs, available globally next month

If you really want a device that tells your status in life that even an Apple device cannot match then you should consider getting a Vertu device. Vertu’s new Signature Touch is an update to the company’s flagship line of Luxury smartphone devices. The new device isn’t just for its premium build and luxury but the most notable addition to the handset is the top of the line specs that comes with it. Embedded with the latest technologies in the Industry, the Vertu Signature Touch is one tough smartphone to compete and it might even be better than your seemingly  high-end smartphone on-hand.

Starting out with the outer layer of the handset is the titanium shell which house a 5.2-inch 1080p display with Sapphire Glass lamination on top. If you think this sounds like catching up with the wave then you’re wrong, in fact, before the Sapphire Glass went mainstream with Apple devices, the highly scratch resistant material were already used by Vertu even with their luxury feature phones back in the days.

The handset is powered by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor and comes with 4 GB of RAM, its storage isn’t just your ordinary capacities on most smartphones as it includes a built-in 64 GB of storage plus another 64 GB of microSD card is included in the package just making sure that you have all the ample space to start with, however if all the total of 128 GB of space still isn’t enough and given that you all have the money to get even more stuff then you should be glad know that the Signature Touch supports up to 2 TB of microSD cards. Keeping the handset alive is the large 3160 mAh battery and supports Quick Charge 2.0 and Qi Wireless charging as well. Like is predecessor, the new Signature Touch still comes with a ceramic ear pillow, Ruby Key, front-facing stereo, NFC and AptX Bluetooth audio.

The new luxury handset is also updated in the camera department where it includes a 21 Megapixel main camera with f/2.2 aperture and is assisted by Phase Detection AutoFocus, a dual-tone LED flash and 4K video recording. The front remains unchanged with a standard 2.1 Megapixel shooter. ArcSoft takes full charge in the camera software and like any Android smartphone in the market, you can always grab your favorite camera app from the Play Store.

One notable changes to the new Signature Touch is the gull-wing door on the handset’s back plate which when opened reveals the nano-SIM slot and microSD slot while the right flap is a laser-etched name and signature of the person who handcrafted the specific Vertu Signature Touch device. It also has a personal touch on the other flag as it reserves the space for personal name engraving just in case one would want it.

With the new Vertu device, it comes with Vertu’s concierge, a dedicated service exclusive to a Virtu user that bridges to a single point of contact as a personal assistant, and as the new handset launches, Vertu is stepping the service up to 18 months than the regular 12 month period. The handset also features an encrypted communication by Silent Circle and a global WiFi access through iPass.

The luxurious Virtu Signature Touch will hit globally by the middle of October and will be available in different outer material used which includes: Jet Calf, Garnet Calf, Grape Lizard, Pure Jet Lizard, Jet Alligator, Pure Navy Alligator, Clous de Paris Alligator and Pure Jet Red Gold. Depending on the materials used, the price starts at £6,500 which goes up to £13,700.
