Valorant Mobile Is Finally Coming, But China Gets It First

Valorant started off as a game for PC, but after nearly four years since Riot Games announced a mobile version, the highly popular online FPS is finally making its way to mobile devices.

However, there’s a catch — LightSpeed Studios, the team behind the game’s development, is expected to launch it first in China before a global release.

As seen in the official trailer, Valorant Mobile will use on-screen buttons for controls, but the gameplay experience is said to closely mirror that of its PC counterpart. Game-centric mobile devices should work seamlessly with it, and physical buttons available on gaming phones should be easy to set up.

As mentioned earlier, it took almost four years for Riot Games to bring Valorant to mobile, and it’s now heading to the market as a direct competitor to more established mobile FPS titles like PUBG and others.

The upcoming Valorant Mobile is now available for pre-registration for the next playtest in China, and we’re expecting Riot Games to roll it out globally very soon.
