This week’s pick are all about the supernatural, magic, monsters, evil and horror. While our first one follows the quest of one main fighting monsters, our second trailer however is purely horror that gives the chills down the spine.
Check them below:
The Witcher
This one is a Netflix series based on “The Witcher” book. You might be familiar with the game of the same name but the Netflix series is entirely based on the book, so gamers might see similarities between this and the game and there are contents and events that we might not have come with in the game.
It stars Henry Cavill as the witcher Geralt of Rivia, a mutated monster hunter that struggles to find his place in a world where people often prove more wicked than beasts.
The series is scheduled to start on Netflix by December the 20th.
The Grudge
This one’s familiar too, the film is based on a classic Japanese horror Ju-on: The Grudge by Takashi Shimizu. As far as I could remember, it’s of the horror movies that kept me away from alone in old places scenario.
The original was so scary that kept me thinking what if someone or something is in the bathroom while washing my hair with my eyes closed? Just what if? So a revision of the series is expected with the same experience given that it’s R-rated.
The Grudge will hit theaters on January 3rd.
