The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite quietly goes official

Samsung in many ways are still investing on mobile tablet devices that every now and again, we see new devices popping up. The lastest is the cheaper Galaxy Tab S6 Lite, a tablet that comes with its own S-Pen and its not actually that expensive.

If you’d compare it to the Galaxy Tab S6 features, you’ll begin to notice a lot of their differences but on the side of design, there isn’t much as the bezels and contours are there for the most part, the camera placements and even sport the S-Pen.

The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite has a 10.4-inch WUXGA+ TFT display and under the hood, it is powered by an unspecified Quad-core chipset running at 2.3GHz. It uses 4GB of RAM and is offered in either 64GB or 128GB of expandable interna storage.

The tablet has both a front-facing and back camera. On the front, it’s got a 5 Megapixel sensor while the back features a 8 Megapixel sensor with a bright f/1.9 Aperture lens.

Connectivity-wise, there’s a model with 4G/LTE and there’s a WiFi only version. It features a fast WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0 a 3.5mm audio jack and USB-C interface. It also got GPS with A-GPS support.

Feature-wise, the S-Pen is there but unlike the more powerful S-Pen on the Galaxy Tab S6, the Lite version gets the regular S-Pen but should do for the basic writing task you can throw at it. It also comes with a dual stereo speakers tuned but AKG with Dolby ATMOS support.

The tablet runs on 7,040mAh battery and boots Android 10 with Samsung’s One UI 2 out of the box.

The new Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite will be available this quarter in Oxford Gray, Angora Blue, and Chiffon Pink starting at $349.99.
