Samsung launched the new Galaxy S21 earlier than expected at Samsung Unpacked 2021 event which was live-streamed on various Samsung portals but before the unveiling of the 2021 flagship mobile device, Samsung have unveiled the Galaxy Buds Pro, a True Wireless Stereo earbuds with design inspiration from the Galaxy Buds+.

The Galaxy Buds Pro is an improvement to the Galaxy Buds+ and you could call it as a better upgrade to its predecessor. Each bud contains an 11mm woofers for deep sounds and a 6.5mm for the tribles.

As the sound gets much more improvement, the call quality gets its fair share of upgrades too. There’s a total of four different mics on the buds with two outer mics, an inner mic and a high Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR) mic, with all these mics combined, a Voice Pickup Unit will interpret and separate your voice from the ambient or background noise. It also comes with a new Wind Shield Technology which basically blocks wind noises as you make your calls.

Moreover, the Galaxy Buds Pro also comes with Active Noise Cancelling feature or ANC which Samsung claims to block background noise 99% of the time and they can be adjusted to so it gives you the freedom to hear what’s going on in the background while wearing the earbuds. Talking about Safety and this is it.

A nifty little feature from the Galaxy Buds Pro is the Auto Switch feature which allows you to connect two Samsung devices simultaneously. there’s also a Dolby Head Tracking technology which gives you a 360 Spatial Audio experience and a Game Mode feature which lowers the Audio latency that are needed especially in games.

Each bud comes with an IPX7 water resistance which allows you to take it anywhere except when swimming or literally soaking in the shower. The buds also packs a 61mAh battery for each earbud and promises up to 5 hours of continuous listening with the ANC feature turned on while it goes for about 8 hours if turned off.

As for the charging case, it comes with a 472 mAh battery which extends the playtime hours to 18 hours with ANC on and up to 28 hours with ANC off. In case the buds gets low in battery, a 5 minute charging is good for a 1 hour of music playback.

The new Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro is available in Phantom Silver, Phantom Violet and Phantom Black for about US$200.
