The Department of Health (DOH) issued COVID-19 Bulletin No. 177 on September 07, 2020. This bulletin reports 1,383 new confirmed cases of COVID-19.
With this number together with yesterday’s figure, the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the country is now at 238,727 with a Death toll of 3,890 after 15 new reported deaths were added.
This bulletin also reports 230 new recoveries which makes our total number of recoveries to 184,906.
With these figures calculated, the Philippines now has a total of 49,931 active COVID-19 cases on record. More info about this Bulletin is detailed in the infographic down below:
The World Health Organization (WHO) declared COVID-19 as a Pandemic on March 03, 2020 which started in Wuhan, China. The disease is caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome – coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV2) with a Flu like symptoms such as Fever, Cough, Colds and in more severe cases Difficulty in Breathing.
