With the new flagship phone now announced, Xiaomi also introduced their new Xiaomi Pad 7 series in two variants. One is the regular Xiaomi Pad 7 and the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro. Both of these devices offer the same screen size, metal build construction, and a few minute differences here and there.

While these two share the same main body and display, what sets them apart is their chipset used, the cameras, and their charging capabilities.
The regular Xiaomi Pad 7 comes with 45W charging, a 13MP main camera with an 8MP front-facing camera, and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3. The Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro, on the other hand, gets 67W fast wired charging, a 50MP main camera, and a 32MP camera for selfies. The device is powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8s Gen 3.
The Xiaomi Pad 7 series features a large 11.2-inch with a 3200 x 2136 (3.2K) resolution screen, a 144Hz refresh rate, and up to 800 nits of peak brightness.
The RAM is either 8GB or a 12GB LPDDR5x RAM with 128GB or 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage. Apart from these configurations, the Pad 7 Pro also has an exclusive 12GB/512GB configuration.
Feature-wise, the Xiaomi Pad 7 gets the usual, including Bluetooth 5.4 and Wi-Fi, where the regular gets version 6, while the Pro is at Wi-Fi 7. Then there’s a side-mounted fingerprint sensor embedded into the power button, quad speakers, an 8,850mAh battery, and boots Xiaomi HyperOS 2 based on Android 15 out of the box.

The new Xiaomi Pad 7 series is only available in Black, Pine Green, and Sky Blue color options in China at the moment, with prices starting at CNY 1,999 for the Xiaomi Pad 7 with 8GB/128GB configuration and up to CNY 2,599 for the 12GB/256GB model. The Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro starts at CNY 2,499 and up to CNY 3,499 for the top-end variant having 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.
Xiaomi also got an optional Nano Matte display, which mimics a paper finish for an additional CNY 200 in 256GB of storage. As for accessories, Xiaomi also offers a dedicated keyboard cover for the new tablet at CNY 999 as well as support for the Xiaomi Pen.

The new tablet may be available in China at this time, but with Xiaomi announcing the new device globally, expect them to become available in your area with Xiaomi to officially announce the dates specific to your region.
