In 2020, mobile devices will put a level up on everything we have today. Flagship devices will be the highlights on the first quarter of the year and various company’s are all ready to rock the mobile scene with their 2020 models.
Chinese tech firm Huawei is set to debut its Periscope Telephoto camera with 10x Optical zoom for the upcoming Huawei P40 Pro. It uses a prism and two mirrors in the camera thus increasing the field of view which eventually enables 10x zoom on images. Zoomed images are then rendered in 8 Megapixel resolution with an Aperture of f/4.0.
The regular P40 on the other hand will also use a periscope lens but will settle for 5x Optical zoom.
The Huawei P40 series flagship devices is set to enter the market by March 2020. Rumors has it that the company will continue to enforce their own Huawei Mobile Services instead of Google’s. If that’s the case, it would be much similar to what is happening right now with the Huawei Mate 30 series, it does run on Android OS but with no Google apps and services installed at first boot.
