The new Huawei Nova 2i will definitely be coming to the Philippines. We had a word with different sales agent in one of the malls and yes, there’s already an ongoing pre-order for the handset with a minimum of 1000.00Php as down payment. The smartphone itself costs 14,990Php and you’ll be paying for the rest of the balanced amount during or after it becomes official on October 21st.

According to the sales agents, the first one hundred registered pre-orders will get a free JBL Flip 3 wireless speaker that cost for about 6.5K. That’s one of the best deals actually for launching the product. As it becomes apparent that the free wireless speaker is also available in other areas, we assumed that this could be a town-specific or perhaps a partner retail store specific promo for that matter.

The Huawei Nova 2i is the company’s first wide-screen display with an 18:9 Aspect ratio that Huawei calls “FullView” display.  It is also a Huawei first device to be equipped with a total of four imaging sensors on a device with both the front and back has a dual-camera lens module. The back of the Phone has a 16 Megapixel main camera with a secondary 2 Megapixel camera. On the front is a 13 Megapixel main shooter and a 2 Megapixel secondary sensor. Both modules are capable to capture the depth on an image which replicates a bokeh effect found on DSLR cameras.

So what are you waiting for? Head over to a Huawei partner retail stores near you and avail their Nova 2i’s special launching promo.
