Stylus equipped LG G4 Stylus and the compact LG G4c goes official after LG made the worldwide availability of the LG G4 flagship device

Just after LG announced the international availability of LG G4, the South Korean firm came out with another surprise for the G4’s extensive family of devices designed to take both the mid-range market with the new LG G4 Stylus and the smaller version of the flagship the LG G4c. As expected, the two newly announced handsets aren’t really on the same level despite their namesake as it comes with actually modest set of specs that goes for affordability and wider audiences.

LG G4 Stylus

The LG G4 Stylus may have borrowed the name of the flagship by this is nothing more that a rebranded LG G Stylo which have been available in Korea and other parts of the world for some time now and like the name suggests, it comes with its own stylus but doesn’t go near enough to compete with Samsung’s stylus equipped Note series, nevertheless it still delivers the convenience of have such piece of accessory for more demanding apps that requires a more precise touch sensitive gestures that only can be perfected with the use of a small pointed Rubberdium Stylus pen.

The screen on the LG G4 Stylus is fairly a standard HD IPS display that can be compared with phablet devices some 3-years ago with 720p resolution at 5.7-inch, there’s 1 GB of RAM for the system and an 8 GB of internal storage for users to work on but this can also be expanded with a microSD card.  Powering the device is a 3000 mAh removable battery and runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with of course, LG’s UX 4.0 on top.

There will be two variants of the LG G4 Stylus when it comes out with a standard 3G version and an LTE variant, besides the radios and modem inside these variants will also differ from their processor and camera. The LG G4 Stylus 3G will feature a 1.4 GHz Octa-core processor and 8 Megapixel for the rear camera. the LG G4 Stylus LTE version on the other hand will have a 1.2 GHz Quad-core processor with a bigger 13 Megapixel main camera but as for the front facing shooter, both variants manages to have agreed with a 5 Megapixel sensor which will fulfill every users selfie and high-quality video calls.

Other tech that will be included in the new G4 Stylus are W-Fi IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, A-GPS, GLONASS support and USB 2.0 compliant. The LG G4 Stylus weighs around 163 grams with dimensions of 154.3 x 79.2 x 9.6mm and will be available in Metallic Silver or Floral White.

Now, if you’d rather want to enjoy most the features of the G4 in a small and compact package then the G4c should do the trick. As it was meant to be and like the G4 Stylus does, the LG G4c will also have to take the lower-end specs but will have the feel and looks of the flagship G4.

It comes with a smaller screen, but small doesn’t mean really small as the G4c has  5.0-inch  HD IPS display with a 1.2 GHz Quad-core processor underneath and 1 GB of RAM. Users will also find a modest 8 GB of storage memory which is we believe a little less than today’s standard but LG kept the microSD slot intact to expand those storage spaces that users might need. The camera is not nowhere near the flagship but will do a fine job as it got an 8 Megapixel main camera on the back while there’s a 5 Megapixel camera on the front which will also do what it does best.

Users will also be delighted to know that the LG G4c is already equipped with a fast LTE connectivity along with the standard 3G/HSPA+ wireless network connectivity options. Other wireless technology that the LG G4c has it on its sleeves are: Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, NFC, A-GPS, GLONASS support and USB 2.0.

Like all new LG devices, the G4c runs Android 5.0 Lollipop with LG’s UX 4.0 on top. the handset weighs just 136 grams and measures 139.7 x 69.8 x 10.2mm and houses the removable 2540 mAh removable battery. The handset will be available in three color options that includes : Metallic Gray, Ceramic White and Shiny Gold.

While the LG G4 Stylus (LG Stylo in North America and Korea) is already available in these markets, other parts of the world will have the new Stylus equipped LG G4 Stylus in the coming weeks to and and will be joined by the upcoming LG G4c with pricing and carriers participation to become available at the local launch from different regions and countries in the world.
